A little Inspiration

"As we pass through the trials of life, let us keep an eternal perspective, let us not complain, let us become even more prayerful, let us serve others, and let us forgive one another. As we do this, 'all things [will] work together for good to [us] that love God' (Romans 8:28)." by James B. Martino

Philophobia

I won't let myself fall. Because once I fall, I fall hard, and then its harder to get back up, and that just won't do if you're not going to be there to catch me on the way down.Too Scared to take the risk and  fall for someone who won't catch me. so Instead I'll post a whole bunch of cute love quotes and pictures :)

The Opportunity and Honor of Service

I recently had the opportunity of serving others, including Elder Quentin L. Cook among the stake presidents and other wonderful people attending the dinner. Some other young women and myself got to serve the dinner to them as they had their meeting. I realize this may seem as a small act of service but it was marvelous.  And luckily there was absolutely no spillage. :)

Service is a beautiful thing. Service is selfless, you make others happy, and you gain new friends. But the best part is the fact that when you serve you serve God's children. Service is the opportunity we have to improve ourselves and become more spiritually beautiful by serving others. It is truly an honor to serve anyone, especially when you think of the fact of who you REALLY are serving, God's children.

“My brothers and sisters, we are surrounded by those in need of our attention, our encouragement, our support, our comfort, our kindness—be they family members, friends, acquaintances, or strangers. We are the Lord’s hands here upon the earth, with the mandate to serve and to lift His children. He is dependent upon each of us.” by Thomas S. Monson

I am blessed with the capability to serve, and with that blessing I feel my obligation to do my best to do more service in my life. Whether its large or small. Serving dinner at the drop in Center or helping my mom with dishes or even if I went on a humanitarian trip. Every act counts.

"I ask God: 'How much time do I have left?' and God replies: 'Enough to make a difference'." Author unknown

What do we live for; if it is not to make life less difficult to each other?
~ George Eliot

"Joy comes when we have the Spirit in our lives. When we have the Spirit, we rejoice in what the Savior has done for us."
